Where vows meet the Ganga.

A researched wedding-themed atlas of riverfront, river-view and tributary-riverside venues across the wider Rishikesh corridor, with direct phone numbers, public emails, source confidence and honest river-access labels.

There is no official "7-star" hotel category in India. This directory uses an explicitly editorial ultra-luxury band and keeps official/brand/public rating claims separate.

What "Rishikesh" covers here

Central Rishikesh, Tapovan, Muni Ki Reti and Virbhadra, plus the destination-wedding corridor through Shivpuri, Gular, Byasi, Kaudiyala, Neelkanth Road, Ghattu Ghat and Mohan Chatti. Every card states whether it is direct Ganga, private-beach access, river-view/near-bank, trail access or a tributary setting.

Find your river setting.

Search by property, corridor or contact detail. Use strict Ganga frontage when a tributary, river view or short walk is not enough.

How to read the atlas

Beautiful, but not misleading.

Rishikesh wedding listings often use "riverside" loosely. This atlas separates true Ganga frontage from private-beach access, views, walks, trail access and tributary locations.

1
Contacts are source-labelled

Official-source records rank above public directories. A "lead" badge means the contact or wedding claim needs stronger verification.

2
Star language is not silently upgraded

Official classification, brand marketing, public listings and editorial quality bands are kept distinct. "7-star" is treated only as an informal luxury expression.

3
River relationship is explicit

Use the strict Ganga switch for direct frontage or private Ganga access. Tributary venues can be excellent, but they are not presented as Ganga-front.

4
Commercial diligence still matters

Before paying, reconfirm room inventory, event permissions, alcohol/meat policy, amplified-music timing, riverbank use, monsoon access, taxes and the contracting entity.

Planning context

The four venue worlds.

Distance, access and river type change rapidly outside the city. Compare the entire guest journey, not just the ceremony photograph.

Central Rishikesh

Tapovan, Ram Jhula, Muni Ki Reti and Virbhadra: easiest guest logistics, more city hotels, tighter noise and space constraints.

Shivpuri & Gular

Strong Ganga access, beaches and luxury retreats, generally 25-60 minutes from central Rishikesh depending on traffic.

Byasi & Kaudiyala

Secluded flagship resorts and dramatic Ganga scenery, but longer transfers and greater need for controlled guest transport.

Mohan Chatti belt

High density of wedding resorts beside the Heval/Huel and smaller rivers. Excellent lawns and buyouts, but usually not direct Ganga.
